The Focus and Attention Package for Children is a combination of vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids that research studies have proven to support healthy focus, concentration, and self-regulation in children who do not swallow pills. Each package provides approximately a 2-3 month supply depending on the age and weight of the child. This package is recommended for children ages 3-12 years*.
Includes:
- Focus-Mate™ (1 bottle): Take 1-2 caps daily in the morning with breakfast. Capsules can be opened and mixed into cool food or beverage.
- EQUAZEN® PRO Jelly Chew (3 boxes): Take 1-3 jelly chews, once daily with meal.
Additional Dosage Instructions/Protocol: Dose according to the directions below or as suggested by your healthcare practitioner.
Step 1: Start by giving Focus-Mate™ first for one week before starting the EQUAZEN® PRO Jelly Chews. Focus-Mate™ capsules should be opened and sprinkled into a cool food such as yogurt or applesauce. A second dose after school can be added if additional support is needed. It is not recommended to give Focus-Mate after 4:00 PM since ingredients may be stimulating and can potentially disrupt sleep. It is not recommended to take more than 4 capsules per day.
Step 2: Add the EQUAZEN® PRO Jelly Chew(s), which should be given with a fat containing meal (either breakfast or dinner) for best absorption. A basic guide for dosing by weight is suggested below:
25-40 lbs - 1 Focus-Mate™ and 1 Pro Jelly Chew per day
41-60 lbs - 2-3 Focus-Mate™ and 2-3 Pro Jelly Chews per day
61-100 lbs - 2-4 Focus-Mate™ and 3 Pro Jelly Chews per day
Since every child is unique and responds differently, we suggest starting with a lesser dose and increase to the target dose after one week.
Parents should evaluate a child's response with different dosing to determine the best ongoing dose for them.
Regular dosing is important to maintain the positive benefits. Although improvements may be seen within the first few days and weeks, additional results can be expected within the first 2-3 months.
